Why independent matters
A captive agent works for one insurance company and can only offer you that company's plans. If the best plan for you is somewhere else, you will never hear about it.
We are brokers, not employees of a carrier. We are paid the same by whichever company you choose, which means we have no reason to steer you. Our advice costs you nothing — the carrier pays us, and the premium is the same whether you use us or not.
